Jacques Tys
After initial oboe studies at the Conservatoire de region de Reims, he joined the class of Pierre Pierlot in the conservatoire supérieur de musique de Paris where he graduate with a first prize of oboe.
He continued his development with Maurice Bourgue, Thomas Indermühle and Jean Louis Capezzali, and is prize winner for the oboe international competition of Toulon, Trieste, and Tokyo.
After to join the orchestra des concerts Lamoureux in Paris he was appointed oboe soloist of the Opera national de Paris orchestra which he play under the direction of G. Solti, S. Osawa, V. Gergiev, G.Dudamel, E.P. Salonen, P. Boulez .
He plays regularly in chamber music and as soloist and record as soloist for Camerata Tokyo and Harmonia Mundi.
He teach since 1992 in the conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris and is invited to give classes in London, Berlin, Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Helsinki.
