The Expression oboe was born in the 1990s.

It developed and evolved from our productive exchange with musicians, always looking for greater ease of play and projection. The result was a bright, even-sounding oboe, embodying the rich, colorful sound signature so characteristic of Rigoutat.

The Expression oboe has inherited unrivalled adaptability and great comfort of use, pushed to its maximum potential, in the orchestra.

The versatility and fluidity of the Expression oboe give artists the chance to wield the sound, letting them “express” themselves.

Today, it remains the first choice for many professional musicians all over the world.

The composite material is available as an option to strengthen the top joint and reduce the risk of cracks, allowing the musician to play confidently at all times.
